Piper Eric Rigler’s skills on the Uileann Pipes make him one of the world’s most sought after Celtic musicians. Eric played on the original soundtrack for Mel Gibson’s motion picture Braveheart and features throughout this recording with the Bill Garden Orchestra.
The title track Braveheart Trilogy is a specially adapted arrangement from composer James Horner’s original film soundtrack. This album also includes many of Scotland’s best loved anthems featuring orchestral and traditional folk band arrangements, and as such it is a must for any musical collection.
The DVD presentation provides a wonderful visual backdrop to the music with scenes of Scotland including Fingal’s Cave, Iona, South Uist, Portree, The Cuillins, Barra, Mull, Tobermory, The Cobbler, Inveraray, Dunoon, Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne, Kyles, Arran, Glencoe, Ben Nevis and St Andrews and more.
Please note - the Track List for the DVD may vary from the CD

Suzi’s newest Album “Less of the Same” is a natural progression for her and there is definitely a lot to look forward to. Its textures range from the jazzy pop of “Wake Up!” to the acoustic-folk waltz “Virginia.” On the collection’s title tune, Suzi is like a female Randy Newman, complete with a carnival orchestra. “Two on a Tightrope” is a time shifting ballad in a swirling arrangement. “Wishbone” has a bluesy tinge. Her song-writing is perhaps never more accomplished than on the acoustic pop of “Chorus Girl 1969.”
Best Regards includes the tracks: Wake Up!, Wishbone, Two on a Tightrope, Chorus Girl, Virginia, Best Regards. Less of The Same includes the tracks: Full Light, My One & Only, Less of the Same, Troublemaker, Pay Attention, Take it Easy

Celtic Music Radio Album of the Week
1 July, 2010
It may seem a little strange to wait until the third album to self name, but Skerryvore have really come of age with their new album Skerryvore.
Listen to their previous works, West Coast Life and On The Road you can hear the roots in Celtic music, but on Skerryvore, they have gone full out to bring in all elements in their grasp and the result is an explosive mix of traditional, rock, funk, country, Americana and great party music!
Eight of the twelve tracks are self penned within the band, with the others well chosen and arranged by the band. There is no doubt at all in the quality of the material and it’s great to see that there are different pairings in the co-writing as well as “solo” writing. This set up should only ensure the band’s longevity.
As I started off by saying, Skerryvore have really upped the game with this CD. There is, in my opinion, a wee gap in the Celtic Rock/Fusion market (or whatever you wish to term it) and Skerryvore have just closed it.
There’s a new sheriff in town and that sheriff is Skerryvore.

Available for the first time, The Royal Edinburgh Military tattoo presents a stunning collection of the very best of it's world famous Massed Pipes and Drums. This sensational compilation features many of the greatest ever home grown and International Pipe Bands to grace Edinburgh's Castle Esplanade.
This special DVD acknowledges the military traditions of piping and drumming. It captures unforgettable Tattoo moments such as Highland Cathedral, Skye Boat Song, Caledonia, auld lang Syne and highlights the elegance of the Tattoo Highland Dancers and the haunting sound of the Lone Piper. We pay tribute to the 'voice of the tattoo' Tom Fleming who sadly passed away in 2010. His television and DVD commentary, over more than 40 years has helped emphasise the Edinburgh Tattoo's place as the foremost Military Tattoo in the world. In honour of his memory, we leave the last words to him at the March Out of the Massed Pipes and Drums. "Who would not follow them cheerfully down the cobbles of the Royal Mile and back to the barracks, when you hear them play The Black Bear? Thanks to you, wherever in the world you have been watching. This is Tom Fleming at Edinburgh Castle saying until another year. Go well."
